Kayaking

This is another popular sport activity for Phi Phi trip. It is another perfect way to see around this charming island. Start protecting your skin by sun screen first and then start your fun day with kayaking.

The kayaking trips in Phi Phi tend to follow the same routes as the additional boat tours. Indeed most of the day is spent on the traditional boat, with short stops around different bays and interesting coastline. For the various sort of trip, try the kayak "sunset tour" which departs from Loh Dalum bay on Phi Phi Don and goes around the coast. It is blissfully cool in the afternoon shade of the limestone cliffs. The padding route goes via Monkey Bay, the Tiger's Mouth and ends up at the beach at Wang Long. Here has a fantastic sunset, framed the steep cliffs, is made truely memorable. By the way, this is not for all.

Apart from dramatic limestone scenery, you can expect to see lots of wildlife and different plants and flowers. Various species of birds such as eagles, kingfishers, little herons and occasionally hornbills. You can also see monkeys and macaques, which inhabit the mangrove forest near the coast. On the islands, the marine life includes brightly-coloured crabs, many tropical fish, and coral. Sightings are never guaranteed, of course, but your chances of seeing something are better when you go!

You can also rent kayak for half or full day by yourself by contacting directly from kayak service on beach or book it at your hotel. The cost of kayak renting is depending on destination. By the way, all trips, even half day, include lunch, fruit and drinks, dry bag and guide.
